Each year, in collaboration with component leadership, the ISDA co-hosts seven legislative dinners. Association leadership and an ISDA lobbyist travel the state to meet with local legislators and member dentists to talk about ongoing and anticipated issues. 

Each survey in recent history has indicated that ISDA members value our advocacy work above all other member benefits. Truly, our mighty association is responsible for preserving the profession as it is today. The only way we'll sustain and be able to work to improve access to quality care for Idahoans is to have our members show up to these legislative dinners. These dinners are where we connect to ideas and potential legislature. It's a rare opportunity for us to demonstrate that dentists are a passionate and generous constituency comprised of community leaders, employers, small business owners, and most importantly, voters.
